The KiddyGuard is designed to withstand an impact of more than 100 kg (220 lbs). KiddyGuard gates comply with many different standards and are tested in-house and by external laboratories.

The KiddyGuard is tested and approved according to the European Safety Standard EN 1930 by SP (Swedish National Testing and Research Institute) and by T†V (T†V Product Service GMBH, Germany)

The KiddyGuard is also tested and approved according to U.S. Safety Standard ASTMF 1004-00 by ITS (Intertek Testing Services NA Inc. U.S). It is also certified by JPMA (Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association).


 

The following standards are used when performing tests of safety barriers.

  • European Safety Standard EN 1930:2000

  • U.S. Safety Standard ASTMF 1004-00
 

The KiddyGuard is tested and approved by the following test institutes:

Furthermore, the KiddyGuard is tested and approved according to the new regulations for chemical content in products sold within the European Union and USA.
